În urma apelului meu disperat la prieteni şi cunoscuţi, în speranţa că se va găsi cineva care va dori să salveze aceşti câini, am primit doar încurajări şi sfaturi. Le mulţumesc tuturor, le mulţumesc şi foştilor colegi de presă pentru sprijin. Eu însă nu vreau să port nici o luptă, nu vreau să dovedesc nimănui că sunt mai rea sau mai puternică. Tot ceea ce vreau e să găsesc stăpâni pentru aceşti câini, care să le ofere spaţiu, hrană şi iubire. Mi se rupe inima când mă uit la ei de pe geam şi îi văd cât sunt de speriaţi. S-au lipit de locul din faţa dispensarului şi stau aproape nemişcaţi toată ziua, ca nu cumva să deranjeze pe cineva, ca şi cum ar vrea să fie invizibili. Doar ochii îşi mai ridică, din când în când, să vadă cine trece pe lângă ei. Din păcate nu am văzut pe nimeni să încerce să le vorbească sau să le dea atenţie, deşi zeci de persoane trec zilnic spre dispensarul medical. Când ies eu, parcă încep să se trezească la viaţă.
