The associations base their allegations on testimonies given by witnesses who sustained to have seen the dogs being shot with tranquillizers and and put in a car belonging to the ZOO from Turda. Asociatiile de protectie a animalelor din Turda, "Trei Frati Patati" si "Amicii nostri", isi declara in mod public indignarea fata de modalitatea folosita de reprezentantii administratiei locale de a face "curatenie" in centrul orasului, in vederea pregatirii Zilelor Municipiului. Locuitori ai zonei ne-au sesizat faptul ca doua nopti ne-a randul, luni spre marti si marti spre miercuri, cainii din centrul orasului au fost adunati in jurul orelor 2-3 noaptea, prin impuscare cu tranchilizant. Conform celor spuse de martorii scenelor, la actiune au participat mai multi barbati. Alertati de urletele cainilor impuscati, au iesit in strada si cainii din curtile locuintelor din vecinatate, caini care au fost de asemenea ridicati. Membrii celor doua asociatii denunta ilegalitatea actiunii de strangere a cainilor, care s-a facut fara instiintarea sau prezenta noastra, in conditiile in care, la inceputul saptamanii, am fost contactati personal de vice...
